A colorful event for the matrimonial. A festivity when the married women are in their best attire, jewelry and decorations. This ceremony started in Jaipur but the ritual brings vivacity among the women in India as well as abroad. The colorful event falls on the 28th and 29th of July, 2006-Shravan. The Teej festival is about the wedded ladies idolize and pray Goddess Parvati for Her devotion towards her husband Shiva.
